Higher Judicial Committee for Presidential election:  No breaches have been recorded yet

Damascus, SANA- Higher Judicial Committee for Presidential Elections said that there are no breaches or problems have been registered in any polling station yet , and we have not received any complaints from sub-judicial committees for elections. In a statement to SANA, the committee indicated that the polling stations are still witnessing a large turnout by voters to cast their votes in the ballot boxes. The committee indicated that it visited the polling stations in Damascus city ,and inspected the electoral process there. Indian diplomat: Only Syrian people have the right to determine future of their country

New Delhi, SANA- Former Indian diplomat, member at Vivekananda International Foundation, Anil Trigunayat affirmed that only the Syrian people have the right to determine the future of their country. People’s Assembly receives notices that Abdullah Salloum Abdullah, Mohammad Firas Yasin Rajjouh submitted applications to run for president

Damascus, SANA- People’s Assembly Speaker Hammoudeh Sabbagh has announced that the People’s Assembly has received two notices from the Supreme Constitutional Court that Abdullah Salloum Abdullah and Mohammad Firas Yasin Rajjouh submitted on Monday two applications in which they announced running for President. On Sunday, Sabbagh announced the commencement of candidacy for Presidential elections on Monday April 19th, calling on those who wish to submit their candidacy applications to the Supreme Constitutional Court within a period of 10 days which ends by Wednesday April 28th 2021.
