Health Ministry to launch nationwide anti-polio vaccination campaign next Sunday

Damascus, SANA- The Health Ministry on Sunday will launch the first nationwide anti-polio vaccination campaign, and it will target children under-5 years of age regardless of their previous vaccinations. A Chinese medical aid package for detecting Coronavirus arrives in Damascus  

Damascus, SANA- A medical aid package provided by China to Syria for detecting coronavirus infection arrived in Damascus International Airport. In a statement to journalists on Wednesday, Deputy Foreign and Expatriates Minister Fayssal Mikdad expressed Syria’s appreciation over China’s stand by Syria and the medical aid provided to the Syrian people as it reflects China’s care for extending aid to Syria and all the countries of the world to fight coronavirus. Coronavirus infection cases exceed two million worldwide

No Coronavirus cases in Syria, WHO announces

Damascus, SANA – The World Health Organization (WHO) announced Thursday that no Coronavirus (COVID) case has been registered in Syria so far. WHO underlined, in a statement for WHO Regional Office for the Eastern Mediterranean, that no coronavirus infection has been registered in Syria, as the WHO categorically refutes false news posted on the social media regarding the coronavirus infection in Syria.
