Government Forces Brace For Heated Battle With ISIS In Mozambican Mueda Town

Click to full-size image Mozambican government forces and insurgents linked to ISIS are bracing for a fierce battle in the town of Mueda in the northeastern province of Cabo Delgado, where a multi-billion gas project is under construction. The insurgency, which began in October of 2017, intensified this year. Two weeks ago, the militants beheaded more than 50 people in Muatide village.
