Bosnia and Herzegovina: Afghan asylum seekers accuse Croatian police of abuses

Afghan asylum seekers staying at the Borici refugee camp in Bihac spoke accused Croatian police officers of abuses. Two Afghan migrants claimed officers stole their phones and money when they attempted to cross from Bosnia and Herzegovina in August. “My wife was pregnant and in too much pain because of the baby, but the Croatian said, “Go back, no stay, no asylum” and deported us,” said an asylum seeker from Afghanistan.
